Role Purpose

• The principal accountability of the Paralegal is to provide legal assistance and support to ensure that lawyers can give expert and professional legal advice, guidance and support to identify, report and mitigate legal and reputational risks.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Drafting contracts for corporate customers also its endorsement at the official authorities
• Preparation of the Real Estate mortgages drafts, mainly for Commercial Banking (CMB) customers
• Providing advices to Credit department in relation to mortgages contracts and its securities
• Finalizing and reviewing real estate mortgage notarization procedures at the real estate registration office 
• Supervising and monitoring any updates in relation to the Bank’s statutes and commercial registration
• Representing the Bank before GAFI in relation to authentication of any amendments applying to the Bank’s articles of association.
• Attending before the Notary Offices for any required scope
• Working with litigation team to support court requests and any related tasks
• Representing the Bank before GAFI in relation to authentication of any amendments applying to the Bank’s articles of association
• Receiving Assembly General and Board of Directors Meeting minutes from Bank Secretary
• Provide same to GAFI to be authenticated
• Getting Commercial Registry approval to add new branches
• Responsible for sale and purchase contracts for the Bank cars and branches 
• Reviewing all documents related to purchase and sale of the Bank cars and branches
• Drafting related contracts
• Notarizing and Registering Sale and Purchase contracts.  
• Maintain and develop positive and professional working relationships with all team members and business departments for which the jobholder is responsible
• Participate effectively as part of the Legal Team.
• Share legal knowledge and best practices with legal colleagues
