1.   Preparation of electrical design system for product development including logic controller and control boxes for different types of air conditioning products

2.   Selection of electrical components for air conditioning equipment.

3.   Calculation of wire sizing, electrical component sizing for new products and related electrical boxes.

4.   Responsible for review of all product wiring diagram, electrical data tables, wire list and components for production

5.   Ensuring design validation and verification for Electrical/Electronic controls by preparing and building prototypes, conducting laboratory testing and reviewing field feedback and reliability testing records and results

6.   Preparation of electrical wiring diagram, wires and components list, electrical summary for production references.

7.   Coordination with production team for the electrical layouts and components assembly for production of air conditioning equipment electrical boxes.

8.   Assisting sales, maintenance departments in customer complaints for technical guidance and provision of immediate and long term solutions for electrical/electronic controllers.

9.   Preparation of electrical data, controller features, startup procedures, sequence of operation, troubleshooting details and parts list for the catalog, Installation, Operation & Maintenance Manuals.

10. Development of new suppliers for electrical components and evaluation of new and proposed electrical components.

11. Interacting with vendors and suppliers on technical issues.

12. Development of new controllers for special requirements for different applications for HVAC system.

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experience Level

-      Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering graduate

-      At least 5 years’ experience in design of electrical controls for HVAC equipment

knowledge, Skills & Abilities required

-      Well versed in the selection and sizing of electrical components and controls for air conditioning equipment

-      Experienced in the design and development of electrical controls for HVAC equipment

-      Has strong knowledge/background in microprocessor controllers with different protocols for HVAC equipment

-      Knowledgeable with HVAC equipment operations and testing

-      Imaginative, profit minded, quality conscious, problem solving and design skills
