We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Unit Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing unit by supporting various functions and processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of production activities to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Monitor inventory levels and liaise with relevant teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, rejects, and downtime.
- Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the smooth flow of materials and information within the manufacturing unit.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques is a plus.
