Position: Video Annotation Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $40 - $80/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

Identify and segment recurring events within short video clips according to project guidelines. Annotate each detected event precisely, providing accurate start and end timestamps. Craft concise, clear, and consistent written descriptions for every annotated event. Ensure all annotation submissions meet strict quality and consistency standards. Collaborate via written and verbal communication channels to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities. Review and refine your own annotations to align with evolving project instructions.

Requirements

Native-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective annotation and communication. Demonstrated experience in video annotation, video editing, videography, or closely related areas. Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-accuracy data labeling. Ability to follow complex annotation guidelines and quickly adapt to feedback. Background in AI training projects or experience with data annotation for machine learning is a plus.
