Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Estimation Incharge with strong technical knowledge of glass processing, project estimation, and costing. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, reviewing project requirements, analyzing drawings, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure competitive and precise cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate quotations, BOQs, and cost estimates for glass processing projects.

• Review and analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Calculate glass quantities, materials, accessories, and processing costs.

• Prepare detailed estimation sheets including glass types, thickness, sizes, and processing requirements.

• Evaluate project specifications and identify technical and commercial requirements.

• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Technical, and Procurement teams for project inputs.

• Ensure timely submission of quotations and maintain estimation records.

• Support the commercial team with cost analysis and value engineering solutions.

• Review supplier quotations and compare material/process costs.

• Maintain proper documentation and database of previous estimates for future references.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in Glass Processing, Glass Manufacturing, Façade, or related industries.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Glass types and applications

  • Tempering

  • Laminating

  • Insulated Glass Units (IGU)

  • Cutting and processing methods

  • Accessories and hardware used in glazing projects

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs.

• Strong knowledge of estimation, costing, and quantity calculations.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software/tools.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

  
  

Preferred Experience:

• UAE experience in glass processing, façade, or glazing projects will be an advantage.

• Experience handling commercial and large-scale projects preferred.
