Job Title: QA/QC Inspector – Steel & Aluminium Fabrication

Location: Umm Al Quwain

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Inspector to join our reputed fabrication team. The ideal candidate will oversee quality assurance and quality control activities, ensuring that all steel and aluminium fabrication works meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, fabrication processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

• Review and verify technical drawings, welding procedures, and material certifications.

• Monitor fabrication activities at the site and workshop, identifying and resolving quality issues proactively.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper documentation of inspection reports.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve quality-related issues.

• Maintain quality records, non-conformance reports, and inspection logs.

• Implement and uphold quality control procedures and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience working with a reputable fabricator, particularly with steel and aluminium.

• Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and finishing processes.

• Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., AWS, ASTM, BS).

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO, CSWIP, EWS) are a plus.
