Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, project requirements and applicable UAE health, safety and environmental regulations.
Conduct daily site safety inspections, identify hazards and unsafe practices, and recommend and follow up on appropriate corrective actions.
Prepare, review and implement Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis, Method Statements and safe work procedures for site activities.
Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and site safety rules, including high risk activities such as working at height, hot work, lifting, electrical work, scaffolding and material handling.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and safety briefings for employees, subcontractors and visitors.
Apply, coordinate and follow up on required HSE permits, approvals and clearances and ensure the applicable Permit to Work (PTW) procedures are properly implemented.
Report, investigate and document accidents, incidents and near misses, maintain required HSE records and ensure corrective and preventive actions are properly closed.
Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and workers on HSE matters and support internal/external HSE inspections, audits and compliance requirements.
Perform any other HSE-related or project related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Environmental Science or related discipline.
NEBOSH Level 3 certification – Mandatory.
2–5 years of construction HSE experience in UAE High rise buildings.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment and site safety procedures.
Good knowledge of PTW, JSA, Method Statements and HSE documentation.
Good command of English for reporting and site coordination.
Proactive safety mindset with strong commitment to HSE compliance.
