Role: Senior Backend Engineer (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $20 - $50/hour
Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Backend Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems to support high-traffic applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements.
Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and optimize backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks.• Implement and maintain APIs, databases, and microservices architecture.• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and system failures.• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.• Experience with RESTful APIs, Graph QL, or similar web service technologies.• Strong understanding of database design, SQL, and NoSQL systems.• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.• Ability to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
