Key Responsibilities Support the daily operation of enterprise infrastructure services. Monitor infrastructure systems, platforms, and critical IT services. Maintain servers, operating systems, and core infrastructure components. Provide technical support for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests. Troubleshoot server, network, connectivity, and system performance issues. Administer Windows and Linux environments. Support Active Directory, Entra ID, authentication, and access management services. Maintain DNS, DHCP, file services, storage, and other core IT services. Support virtualized infrastructure and virtual machine environments. Assist with Azure, AWS, or other cloud infrastructure services. Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, performance, and utilization. Investigate system alerts, service interruptions, and recurring technical issues. Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and configuration activities. Support backup, restoration, and disaster recovery processes. Verify backup jobs and assist with recovery testing. Apply infrastructure security controls and system-hardening practices. Support vulnerability remediation and security patch management. Manage infrastructure-related service tickets and incident records. Prioritize technical issues according to business impact and service-level requirements. Escalate complex or critical incidents to senior engineering teams. Coordinate with network, cybersecurity, application, and service desk teams. Work with external vendors and technology service providers when required. Assist with infrastructure installations, migrations, upgrades, and implementations. Maintain accurate technical documentation, system records, and infrastructure diagrams. Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical runbooks. Track infrastructure assets, licenses, configurations, and service dependencies. Analyze recurring incidents and recommend permanent corrective actions. Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability and service quality. Assist with infrastructure capacity planning and technology lifecycle management. Support IT audits, compliance reviews, and infrastructure assessments. Prepare service-performance and infrastructure-status reports. Use automation and scripting to improve repetitive infrastructure processes. Participate in infrastructure improvement and digital transformation initiatives. Ensure infrastructure services follow internal policies, security standards, and operational procedures. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, IT services, or IT operations. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching concepts. Experience supporting servers, virtualization platforms, and enterprise infrastructure. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID. Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms is an advantage. Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and business continuity. Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and IT service-management tools. Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, patching, endpoint protection, and system hardening. Experience using ITSM or ticketing platforms. Basic scripting knowledge using Power Shell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good command of English. Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. UAE or GCC infrastructure experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Comp TIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Azure, AWS, or VMware are welcome but not required.
