Monitor and maintain the health and welfare of dairy goats and sheep.
Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and health conditions.
Develop and implement preventive healthcare programs, including vaccination, deworming, and biosecurity protocols.
Conduct routine herd health assessments and reproductive health monitoring.
Assist with breeding, kidding/lambing management, and neonatal care.
Maintain accurate veterinary records, treatment logs, and health reports.
Ensure compliance with UAE animal health regulations and farm biosecurity standards.
Work closely with farm staff to promote best practices in animal care, nutrition, and welfare.
Coordinate with laboratories and external veterinary specialists when required.
Participate in emergency veterinary care and respond promptly to animal health issues.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in veterinary science, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.
2–4 years of veterinary experience, preferably in dairy farms specializing in goats and sheep.
Experience in dairy livestock production systems.
Knowledge of animal nutrition, reproduction, biosecurity management, herd health management, disease prevention, and livestock production.
Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a farm environment.
Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
Candidates must currently be available in the UAE.
