• Field Safety Surveillance: Conduct continuous site surveillance to detect safety hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions across all project work fronts. 

• Permit Verification: Verify that valid PTWs are displayed at work locations and all mandatory precautionary measures are actively in place. 

• Scaffolding & Working at Heights: Inspect scaffolding structures, ladders, guardrails, and safety harnesses; ensure green/red scaffold tags are updated daily. 

• Lifting & Heavy Plant Checks: Verify third-party inspection stickers and operator licenses for mobile cranes, tower cranes, excavators, and rigging hardware. 

• Toolbox Talks & Briefings: Deliver daily pre-task safety briefings and toolbox talks in coordination with site foremen in applicable languages. 

• Housekeeping & Fire Protection: Inspect fire extinguishers, clear access corridors, welfare facilities, and enforce proper waste disposal. 

• Safety Violation Logging: Issue safety observation cards, document unsafe acts with photographic evidence, and verify immediate rectification. 

Desired Candidate Profile

• Essential Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree; NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC 1, 2, 3); 3+ years construction safety experience. 

• Preferred Qualifications: First Aid & Fire Fighting certified; Scaffolding Inspector certification. 

• Professional Licenses / Certifications: Valid UAE Driving License preferred. 

• Required UAE / GCC Construction Experience: 3–6 years in UAE construction safety inspection on civil building and infrastructure projects.
