Manager - Production

Job Purpose: • The Production Manager is a position working throughout The Red Sea & Amaala, whose primary goal is to support the Senior Manager, Creative, and the wider events team, with the unique creative strategy and creative production for each event. • He/She will support in the process for creative production programming, including collaborating with key stakeholders and creative entities, ensuring that all sides of the business (internal and external) are working together to deliver and exceptional creative program. • Events include sport and entertainment, wellness and retreat, MICE, and business-based events. • The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and be a prolific generator of dynamic ideas that connect with target audiences. • This role requires a strong background in experiential design and production for large events. Job Responsibilities: • Work with the Senior Manager, Creative to develop and communicate a clear creative vision for projects, campaigns and branding required for each event. • Manage content strategy for all event projects, harnessing brand design, copy, art, digital technology, and physical production assets. • Act as the liaison between the events team, marketing team and event agencies to create or guide the event storyline from concept through to execution. • Assist in the development of the creative profile for each event, including unique creative concepts and programming; conceive and implement those concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion. • Create the production schedule for each event; liaise with key stakeholders and ensure that timelines are maintained. • Manage the planning, implementation, and dismantling processes for creative infrastructure (digital and physical). • Lead and review the work of creative teams (internal and external) for all physical and digital creative infrastructure; direct and motivate teams of artists, illustrators, copywriters, designers, etc. • Assist with brainstorming and creative sessions with internal teams and clients (as necessary) to generate ideas. • Work with the production and creative teams to ensure the budget is maintained and that production assets are delivered, implemented, and dismantled on schedule; ensure that the timeline for creative elements development is in line with the overall event operations timeline. • Procure production assets as necessary; organize equipment repair and routine maintenance, as necessary. • Maintain high creative standards and ensure the final output meets or exceeds client expectations. • Provide guidance and feedback to creative teams to ensure that projects align with the established vision. • Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior and competitor activities to inform creative strategies. • Present and pitch creative ideas and concepts to clients or stakeholders effectively. Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports • Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and SOPs relevant to the Event Operations team and to each event in general. • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards. Safety, Quality & Environment • Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude. Continuous Improvement • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department s systems, processes and practices considering international best practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement. Qualifications & Requirements: • 5+ years in event production, design, planning, and operations is required. • 5+ years of industry or related creative process experience combining strategy, content and creative deliverables is required. • Experience with creative processes, marketing, graphic design, 3D/spatial design, and brand development. • Must have experience in developing business plans, operations plans, and creative plans for events • Experience working in the GCC is required.
