1.Prepare and produce all pastry, desserts, and sweets related dishes together with bakery items for the banqueting menus and ensuring items are of a consistently high standard.
2.Responsible for the creation of baked goods and desserts applicable to the restaurant menu.
3.Able to prepare a wide variety of desserts and bread items.
4.Maintain a high standard of service at all times.
5.Shapes dough for cookies, pies, and fancy pastries either by hand or by using dough rollers and cookiecutters.
6.Prepares compotes, gelatins, custards, meat pies, fillings, and other finishes as required.
7.To ensure all dishes are served at the correct portion size, quality, and temperature
8.Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment.
9.Take responsibility for the receipt and safe storage of deliveries, checking that goods are correct and of good quality and noting/ resolving any discrepancies.
10.To provide support to other sections of the kitchen as and when required.
11.Ability to work in a team- driven environment, take direction, offer directions and assist with problem-solving
