The Essential Functions Include:

  • Represent Pinkerton core values of integrity, vigilance and excellence.
  • Manage all training programs against the Conduct of Operations.
  • Collaborate with the Training staff to develop and deliver operational readiness training including but not limited to; command and control during normal and response operations, incident command, shift changes, post rotation/relief, position overviews, operational briefings/reports/inspections, equipment issuance, firearms, tactical entry and direct pursuit, and key weapons systems deployment.
  • Interface with operational personnel in the development of drills, drill schedules, and exercises.

    • Provide direction to Clientstaff regarding how to conduct drills and exercises;
    • Participate in the same as role player, controller, and evaluator.

  • Identify capability gaps and follow up on areas of readiness which require additional training.
  • Identify areas of improvement within the existing training programs and develop updated delivery plans.
  • Monitor the operational tactics, techniques, procedures, policies, plans and related decisions.
  • Maintain knowledge of nuclear security physical protection systems, operations, management systems, training, all forms of evaluation and corrective action processes.
  • Build, mature, and grow an operations section that provides world class nuclear security advice and recommendations in reference to design, effectiveness, and suitability of various physical security systems, including elements such as facilities, barriers, delays, detection, monitoring, channeling, video, alarms, redundancy, and methodologies such as active, passive, stand-alone, networked, lethal, and/or less lethal.
  • Coordinate, communicate, collaborate, and interact with all BNPP security organizations to remain fully informed and current on nuclear security operational PPSs to ensure Clienthas current and accurate information in regards to PPS status.
  • Oversee and continuously reevaluate the PPS tracking and reporting system to ensure it is providing useable and accurate real-time status data to Clientsmanagement, and there is concurrence with the other security stakeholders at BNPP.
  • Lead security operation participation in the Vulnerability Assessment Report (VAR) process, as the security operations SME, building an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the current VA results.
  • Lead security operations participation in protection strategy development process, as the security operations SME, building an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the results in order to understand and evaluate Armed Guard Force Member (AGFM) requirements
  • Provide operational experience input to the training program to assist in identifying seams or gaps, training deficiencies, and aid in continuous improvement.
  • Provide direct assistance to exercise and performance testing activities in reference to scheduling, planning, conduct, control, evaluation, and after action reviews.
  • Interact and collaborate with the training program in reference to new security requirements, changes to security requirements, and/or new security equipment.
  • Provide continuous assistance to teach, coach, and mentor assigned Clients personnel in nuclear security operations in order to ensure a transfer of knowledge, skill, and ability as part of the Emiratization program.
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Hiring Standards

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

  • Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company pre-employment screening process, including drug testing and background investigation.
  • Must meet the country age requirements.
  • Must have the legal right to work in United Arab Emirates.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).

Education/Experience

:
College or university graduate in a related field or equivalent work experience including structured professional development in a security related discipline with at least two to five years of performance testing.

  • The appointee will be a security professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in performance of nuclear security, with 2 years experience in nuclear security operations or as a response force manager.
  • Considerable, proven experience in coordinating, conducting, and running the operations of a response force with experience in a nuclear security being valuable.
  • Knowledge of the operation of nuclear security programs, and an exceptional ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients.
  • Must be able to meet the requirements for a UAE security clearance and any visa requirements.
  • Travel, as required.
