ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Logistics Officer is responsible for handling the end-to-end logistics process for our customers, which
includes but is not limited to:
- Handling customer inquiries.
- Analyze cost and share selling price decided by the operations manager.
- Follow up on all shipments handled to ensure shipping and arrival on time, by closely monitoring progress,
and intervening to fix issues whenever needed.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders (carriers, shipping companies, customs, clearing agencies, and
customers)
- Manage and follow up on customs clearance process of export and import cargo.
- Book and manage courier and express shipments.
- Continuously review processes and suggest improvements.
- Any related tasks assigned by the direct manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Officer/Coordinator or a similar role.
- Knowledge of Sea, Air, LCL, Land Transport, Cross Trade, Customs Clearance, Courier, and other logistics
services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other logistics-related software.
