Job Title: Machine Operator

Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Set up machines according to production specifications and ensure proper calibration and alignment
Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to keep machines running smoothly
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications
Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
Complete production logs, reports, and documentation accurately and on time
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in machine operation preferred
Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
