Ambitek are a supplier of temporary labour to a range of industries in the UAE.
We are looking for a dedicated General Foreman to supervise and coordinate construction activities on site to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites, including coordinating and scheduling work activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Managing and supervising construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards, quality issues, and deviations from project plans, and taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Communicating effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities, resolve issues, and ensure project objectives are met.
- Enforcing safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and training to construction teams to foster a culture of teamwork, productivity, and excellence.
- Maintaining accurate records of construction activities, materials usage, and personnel attendance to support project documentation and reporting requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing construction activities.

- Proven experience as a General Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate construction teams and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
