Ambitek are a supplier of temporary labour to a range of industries in the UAE.
We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the construction of various structures, ensuring they are safe, durable, and compliant with building codes and regulations.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing project requirements and developing structural designs based on engineering principles and standards.
- Performing structural calculations and simulations to assess the strength, stability, and performance of building components and systems.
- Creating detailed structural drawings, specifications, and documentation using engineering software and tools.
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural requirements into building designs.
- Conducting site inspections and evaluations to assess existing structures and identify structural issues or deficiencies.
- Providing technical guidance and support to construction teams during the implementation of structural designs.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Participating in project meetings and communicating effectively with project stakeholders.

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in structural engineering, preferably in a consulting or construction firm.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design principles, and engineering software.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
