Quality Control Inspector
Job Purpose: To check, monitor and document all the Quality In-process activities in entire production and report to QC Supervisor.
Key Accountabilities:
- Check the personal hygiene for all food handlers and cleaning and sanitation of food contact surfaces such as table/ utensil/ equipment in whole production and warehouse premises.
- Inspect and document the food / packaging items for both incoming and outgoing and execute the internal QA holding procedure for defective items as per SOP. Check and document the large truck & local delivery vehicles for cleaning & sanitation, precooling temperature before loading.
- QC In- process inspection, Preoperational and CCP monitoring (Cooking, Veg and Fruits sanitation, Blast chilling & shock freezing and metal detection) for dates, bakery, pastry, cookies, cold kitchen & chocolate.)
- Check and approve all the ingredients label before bulk printing and using them in production and keep record for local and export (as per different country requirements).
- Monitor and document the temperature/ humidity in production and warehouse dry store, chillers and freezers and report to concerned department head if any violation.
- Check and monitor proper arrangement of food items and “First in First Out”/ First Expiry First Out” (raw, finished, allergen, liquid, solid, etc) and packaging items in warehouse, if any violation report to concerned department
- Check, monitor and documents the internal and external calibration of equipment and delivery vehicle.
- Co- ordinate and arrange the new items photos, label (mockup) for registration with DM and SFDA
- Check, monitor and document the UV disinfection of potable water.
- Check and document the returns from SM/Café/retails/Jomara and report to warehouse and inventory dept as per the SOP.
- Collect and store retention sample for further verification in case of any customer complaints for export shipments.
- Monitor pest control treatment activities carrying out by service provider.
- Maintain employee medical questionnaire checklist for those who resume work after vacation.

Skills
Experience requirement:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in food industry
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English
Qualification and Licenses requirement:
- Undergraduate Degree in Microbiology or any other food science.
