We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues for end-users. The IT Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems and networks within the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems promptly to minimize downtime.
4. Collaborate with other IT team members to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
5. Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
6. Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, and access points.
7. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Skills

1. Associate degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
2. Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
4. Experience with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
5. Familiarity with networking principles, protocols, and equipment.
