Job Title: Cargo Loader

Job Description:
We are seeking for a dedicated and reliable Cargo Loader to join our dynamic team. As a Cargo Loader, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe loading and unloading of cargo onto and from various modes of transportation, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities:
Safely load and unload cargo onto and from trucks, ships, and other modes of transportation following established safety procedures.
Inspect cargo for damage, ensure proper packaging, and verify the accuracy of shipment documentation.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts to move and transport cargo within the warehouse or loading area.
Ensure proper weight distribution and secure cargo using straps, chains, and other securing devices to prevent damage during transportation.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
Coordinate with team members, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely cargo handling and transportation.
Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Cargo Loader or similar role is preferred.
Valid forklift certification.
Ability to operate various types of loading equipment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
