• Job Description:

This is full time on site role for Senior Mechanical Engineer located in Fujairah. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for day to day tasks for Mechanical Engineering, project management , QA/QC and HSE requirements.

• Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting & mechanical systems at construction sites. This involves collaborating with contractors, Engineers, Supervisors, technicians, and other trades to ensure proper installation according to design specifications and industry standards.
2. Conduct site inspections to assess the progress and quality of mechanical systems installations. This includes reviewing technical shop drawings, monitoring workmanship, and identifying any deviations or issues that may impact system performance.
3. Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that mechanical installations comply with design specifications, codes, and safety regulations. This includes conducting inspections, performing tests.
4. Ensure works are carried out inline with Local Authority regulations and standards.
5. Resolve any Mechanical system issues or malfunctions that arise during the construction phase. This requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines to ensure timely resolution verifications and documenting any non-compliance or corrective actions.
6. Provide training and technical support to the site team members, including technicians and subcontractors, to enhance their understanding of HVAC systems, Plumbing and Fire Fighting installation procedures, and safety practices.
7. Monitor Site Works and prepare Weekly and Monthly Reports
8. Coordinating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, preparing project schedules, estimating costs, and overseeing the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.
9. Monitor the project budget for material , labour and site overheads.

Skills

• Qualifications:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Minimum 15 years of experience in building construction in MEP in UAE.
3. Good communication skills and relationship building.
4. Pro active in resolving issues
5. UAE Driving License
