Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Director – Masterplanning to join our team and support our client on an exciting project. The Director will provide technical leadership and expertise in Masterplanning to ensure the successful delivery of the project. Collaborating closely with the client and project team, the Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the masterplan, addressing technical challenges, and optimizing project outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
Provide expert guidance and leadership in masterplanning for the projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.<br/><br/>Engage with the client to understand their vision, requirements, and constraints, and translate them into actionable masterplan strategies that meet their needs.<br/><br/>Conduct thorough technical analyses to assess site conditions, infrastructure requirements, and regulatory constraints, informing masterplan development and decision-making.<br/><br/>Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, engineers, architects, and urban planners, to gather input, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.<br/><br/>Identify technical risks and challenges associated with masterplan development, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays.<br/><br/>Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that masterplans meet technical standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations, while adhering to project budget and schedule.<br/><br/>Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate masterplanning progress, technical analyses, and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.<br/><br/>Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in masterplanning and infrastructure development, and incorporate innovative approaches to enhance project outcomes.<br/><br/>What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field.<br/><br/>Minimum of 20 years of experience in masterplanning and technical leadership roles, with a focus on infrastructure projects with minimum 5yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).<br/><br/>What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex projects from inception to completion.<br/><br/>Proficiency in relevant software tools for masterplanning and technical analysis<br/><br/>Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.<br/><br/>Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
