Location: Abu Dhabi Refinery

Functional Area: Refinery Maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical, Control & Workshop)

Purpose of Job

• Directs, coordinates, advises and technically supports all activities of comprehensive Workshop, heavy equipment and civil maintenance services at ADRD.
• Reviews and provides technical advice and supervision on all repair and modification jobs pertaining to static equipment related to ADRN and SD (Mussaffah Terminal).
• Reviews and studies workshop strategies and activities to ensure achieving optimum performance by developing necessary procedures and work plans, recommends future replacements and prepares necessary budget proposals.
• Provide Assistance for service and repair of rotating equipment.
• Directs troubleshooting of chronic problems, identifies reasons and recommends remedial actions and ensures that maintenance services are provided safely and efficiently.
• Reviews and studies projects documentation and management of change (MOC) Proposals.

Minimum Job Requirements

• B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 9 years’ experience in diverse metal crafts including machine tooling, bench fitting and the fabrication, welding and repair, with some experience of heavy lifting equipment and vehicle maintenance and civil business, preferably with field experience in a Refinery, Petrochemical plant and power plant.
• Good knowledge of English.
