The Junior Store Operations Specialist is responsible for assisting with various shop operational tasks and duties assigned by senior management, focusing on cash processes and sales floor operations. He/she is accountable for allocating cash, monitoring customer payment transactions, and coordinating the transfer of money, electronic cards, and invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, in collaboration with the cashier team, the execution and management of alteration, laundry, and reservation services, ensuring related logs are accurately maintained.
- Supervise and provide support for all product movements in and out of the store, highlighting any transaction challenges to the relevant stakeholders to ensure system stock integrity.
- Oversee, in collaboration with the cashier team, the execution and management of alteration, laundry, and reservation services, and filling related logs where applicable.
- Consolidate, verify, and submit daily sales reports, cash money, bank slips, discounts, exchanges, refunds, receipts, and vouchers from all cash registers. Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards, logging any cash discrepancies.
- Manage and maintain all stock room and cash desk standards as communicated by the regional operations team and/or partners. Assist the store operations manager or their equivalent in conducting accurate recounts before placing consumable orders to ensure expense control.
- Supervise the team effectively during shipment receiving and advise the store operations manager or their equivalent on challenges and improvements for better efficiency.
- Support the stock team in processing store replenishment on an hourly basis and efficiently manage shop floor returns following commercial activities.
- Create and maintain operational forms, tools, and assets in the store based on templates provided by the regional operations team, collaborating with relevant stakeholders for proper control.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in shop/stock management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Zero to two years of experience in Retail, or a similar role.
