We are seeking a motivated Head of Delivery to join our logistics team in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the courier service including in-house and outside courier services, B2B delivery in the Middle East
- Development of the strategy for courier service and B2B delivery, evaluation of employees’ performance and interaction with other departments
- Decision making, work coordination and responsibility for made decisions within the area
- Participation in development of motivational projects for the improvement of work quality and efficiency
- Compiling financial and other reports for the head of the department, chief accountant and general director of the company
- Participation in development of projects, writing instructions and organizing meetings and conferences in the company
- Completing individual work assignments from the direct supervisor and compliance with company’s work regulations
- Data analysis of courier service and B2B delivery (timeliness, service, expenses), identifying problems and developing measures of handling them
- Participating in product development with the IT team
- Employee development and training, improving employees’ qualification and boosting motivation
- Budgeting and budget execution control
Skills
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similiar position
- Managing a team of 10 people or more
- Proficient knowledge of PC (MS Office)
- Experience of working with large volumes of information
- Fluency in English
