We are currently seeking a Purchase & Operations Coordinator role for one of our very well-known client, to be based in their Dubai office.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly competent and results-oriented Purchase & Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in purchase coordination, delivery management, and after-sales operations within the UAE. A deep understanding of materials across various categories, including MRO industrial spares, machinery, safety products, consumables, structural steels, and facility management materials, is critical to this role.
Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
- Manage customer inquiries and translate requirements into actionable purchase plans.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle, including purchase order creation, supplier payments, and procurement tracking.
Logistics & Delivery Coordination:
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless material collection from suppliers and timely delivery to clients.
- Proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges to maintain uninterrupted operations.
After-Sales Operations:
- Manage customer queries, warranty claims, and service-related issues with efficiency and professionalism.
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers and suppliers to ensure smooth resolution of after-sales matters.
- Continuously evaluate after-sales processes and propose improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the UAE within a general trading, facility management, construction or production company.
- Proven expertise in purchase coordination, supplier management, and delivery logistics.
- Knowledge of UAE trading regulations, including import/export procedures, is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- In-depth understanding of procurement, supply chain, and logistics processes.
- Knowledge in product categories such as industrial spares, machineries, consumables, structural steels, and facility management materials.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier and customer relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems.
