We are seeking a full-time Joinery Draftsman to join our team in Umm al qwein, United Arab Emirates. The Joinery Draftsman will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for furniture and joinery items, ensuring that they meet all requirements and specifications. The Joinery Draftsman will work closely with the project team to develop designs and prototypes that meet the needs of our clients. This is an on-site role.
Skills
- Experience in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for joinery and furniture items
- Expertise in AutoCAD and other relevant software applications
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and specifications
- Understanding of joinery and carpentry techniques, materials, and processes
- Knowledge of joinery and furniture manufacturing standards and requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other designers and project managers
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Diploma, Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
