Objective of the Role:
The Senior Manager – IT is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operational support of IT and ELV infrastructure across shopping malls and community retail spaces. This includes strategic planning, infrastructure management, vendor oversight, cybersecurity, budgeting, and ensuring that the technology ecosystem aligns with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure & Operations:
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps.
• Oversee implementation and management of infrastructure across servers, networks, storage, mall Wi-Fi, CCTV, virtualization, and telecommunications.
• Ensure network reliability and security (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and remote access).
• Manage data center operations including hardware provisioning, disaster recovery, and continuity planning.
Cloud & Systems Management:
• Evaluate, implement, and manage secure, cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure integration between cloud and on-premise systems to support scalability and performance.
Vendor & Budget Management:
• Establish and manage vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to SLAs and cost-effective contract management.
• Develop and control IT infrastructure budgets with a focus on cost optimization and efficient resource allocation.
Security & Compliance:
• Collaborate with the corporate security team to implement robust cybersecurity controls.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to IT security standards.
Operational Excellence:
• Define and enforce IT operational procedures, including incident management, change management, and service delivery standards.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement in service quality and system uptime.
Financial Accountability:
No direct financial approval or spend authorization, but responsible for budgeting and resource planning.
Required Experience:
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure roles, preferably within large mixed-use developments or retail/mall environments.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial capacity leading IT teams and operations.
Education & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field.
Technical Skills:
• Strong technical knowledge of:
o Server and network infrastructure
o Cloud platforms
o ELV systems (Wi-Fi, CCTV, telecom)
o Data center operations
o IT operations and service delivery standards
• Proficiency in IT tools, databases, and project management frameworks.
