Overview of the role:

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Aftermarket Consultant – Air Solution Products (Compressed Air System Equipment) to join our Power & Industrial Products Division (FAMCO) in Dubai. This role is responsible for driving direct sales, business development, and customer relationship management for Ingersoll Rand compressed air systems and related aftermarket services across the UAE. The Aftermarket Consultant will play a key role in achieving divisional sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.


What you will do:

  • Drive sales and aftermarket growth for compressed air system equipment, spare parts, and services.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through market research, customer visits, and relationship development.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle — from initial inquiry and technical proposal to negotiation, order finalization, and payment follow-up.
  • Prepare and present techno-commercial quotations that align with customer requirements and company profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and industry standards to position FAMCO’s products competitively.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and high service standards in coordination with internal teams.
  • Meet and exceed targets for revenue, gross margin, and customer satisfaction


Skills

Required skills to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in direct sales of compressed air system equipment, projects, or aftermarket solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems, including centrifugal, rotary screw, and reciprocating compressors.
  • Proven business development and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals independently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with UAE or GCC market dynamics and industrial customers.
  • A self-starter, organized, and target-driven professional with strong accountability and problem-solving skills.
