Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Private Tutor at Knowledge Connection Emirates, located in Abu Dhabi with some work-from-home flexibility. The Private Tutor will be responsible for providing one-on-one or small group instruction in various subjects to students of different ages and educational levels. Day-to-day tasks include preparing customized lesson plans, assessing students' progress, providing feedback, and communicating with parents or guardians about their child’s progress. Tutors may also offer support for extracurricular activities and liaise with school teachers to ensure curriculum alignment.
Qualifications Strong subject knowledge in one or more disciplines such as mathematics, science, languages, or humanities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in developing and implementing personalized lesson plans and teaching strategies Ability to assess student performance and provide constructive feedback Comfortable with a hybrid working model, combining in-person and remote teaching sessions Bachelor’s degree in Education, relevant subject area, or related field Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable Proficiency in using educational technology and online teaching platforms
