Role Description The Data Center Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and reliability of Dubai Key Insights’ data center environment in Abu Dhabi. This part-time, on-site role includes managing data center infrastructure, coordinating hardware installations, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability of critical systems and services. The Data Center Manager will supervise environmental controls, capacity planning, and asset management, while maintaining strict adherence to security, safety, and compliance standards. Daily responsibilities also include troubleshooting incidents, coordinating with networking and engineering teams, and maintaining accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and changes. The role involves continuous optimization of operations, vendor coordination, and contributing to resilience and disaster recovery planning to support DKI’s analytics and market intelligence services. Qualifications Strong expertise in data center operations and data center infrastructure, with experience managing day-to-day performance, capacity, and uptime. Hands-on skills in infrastructure and troubleshooting, including diagnosing hardware, power, and environmental issues in a live production environment. Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies as they apply to data centers, including switches, routing, load balancing, and connectivity. Proven experience implementing and following operational standards, including security, access control, and safety procedures. Familiarity with monitoring tools, incident and change management processes, and documentation best practices. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including remote engineering and analytics teams. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time schedule. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in data centers supporting analytics, cloud, or high-availability platforms is beneficial; exposure to GCC markets or regional organizations is a plus.
