Purpose To source and supply spare parts and source repair capability of local repair companies
Accountabilities Interface with service technicians and ensure their parts and accessories' needs are being met Assist technician’s orders for parts and source and supply as soon as possible Recommend related parts and accessories, which may be required for the job Conduct physical testing of equipment and vehicle after servicing. This includes testing the operation of engine, gearbox steering, brakes, instruments etc. Supply costs of parts information on repair orders Notify service personnel when special parts or back-order parts are received Ensure that parts/repairs are in line with the manufacturer’s requirements
Education & Experience Completion of secondary (12 years) technical education followed by recognized mechanical course mandatory4 years’ experience in maintenance and repair work on mechanical assemblies and pneumatic and hydraulic systems High level of communication skills using all methods e-mail, phone etc.
