What you will do

The Senior Technician – Security systems is a key role reporting directly to the Project Manager and will be based in Dubai.  As a Senior Technician you will support ACS and CCTV systems field commissioning, troubleshooting, onsite system verification and PPM activities. This may include supervising and directing field sub-contractors.

As a member of this team, you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for you to develop your technical and project management skills.

How you will do it

As a Technician, you must have good knowledge of the latest security system products and electronics/Networking knowledge. You are hands on, programming controllers, installing & commissioning of various Access Control System & CCTV System Platforms, Visitor Management Systems , Speed gates, Car Park barriers, Road Blockers , Bollards, ANPR and set up, test third party software integrations. You will demonstrate your expertise by conducting system operation training and creating handover documents to ensure a smooth handover to customers and by maintaining a high standard of safety at all times.

What we look for

Required:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic or equivalent.

  
  

•  experience with installation, testing, commissioning and servicing of various CCTV brands (Avigilon, HIK, Pelco, Avigilon) including thermal cameras and CCTV storage systems.

  
  

• Proven technical knowledge and experience working on Access Control systems (CEM & C-CURE ACS Applications).

  
  

• Proven technical knowledge and experience working on Intrusion detection, ANPR & PAVA systems.

  
  

• Proven technical knowledge and experience working on Road Blockers, Bollards, Gate Barriers & Fire Systems.

  
  

• Solid knowledge of field cabling and installation best practices for ACS and CCTV systems.

  
  

• Provide solutions to others on highly complex system problems through troubleshooting or advising on how to resolve problems.

  
  

• Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure all duties are performed in a safe and professional manner.

  
  

• Knowledge in preparation of Incident reports and Root Cause Analysis reports.

  
  

• Candidate should be fluent in English (spoken and written).

  
  

• Valid UAE Driving License.

  
  

Preferred:

• Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks and coordination with third-party service providers and vendors.

  
  

• Escalation points on technical issues and provide coaching, mentoring and technical assistance to team members and clients.

  
  

• Focal point for client, sales, and manufacturers to achieve the required solutions to fulfil client requirements.

  
  

• Coordinate with client’s IT team to understand their IT and network requirements and guide them for best practices for deployment of ACS and CCTV systems.
