Overview:

Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator with a passion for buildings/developments to join our Buildings & Logistics team in Dubai. As a Project Coordinator, you will assist the Project Manager to ensure successful delivery, client satisfaction, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality designs that aligns with Jacobs values of safety, sustainability, innovation, and excellence. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects and engineers on ongoing projects, contributing to design development, site visits, and documentation.
• Assist with preparation of the Project Management Plan and monitor delivery of our services to these documents.
• Assist Procurement team in relation to procurement of Sub-Consultants.
• Direct engagement with technical teams to monitor delivery as per contracted deliverables.
• Work closely with Project Manager and Design Manager to monitor subconsultant deliverables as per agreed timelines and quality requirements.
• Have a good understanding of the contracted items that impact the design delivery of the project and keep the teams aligned to these requirements. 
• Ensure that the Design Team are provided with regular budget updates.
• Complete supplier performance assessments to feedback good and bad services from suppliers and ensure ethics compliance for business partners.
• Work shoulder to shoulder with Project Manager and assist with reporting Risks on a regular basis.

Qualifications & Skills:

• As a successful candidate you will have a BS or MS degree in Architecture or Engineering, from a recognized university with proven history of academic excellence.
• Drive and Determination: Exhibit unwavering determination and a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.
• Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate in diverse environments.
• It is important that you demonstrate a strong knowledge of control principles, with the ability to assist the project manager to work to tight deadlines. You will have client management skills and have the capacity to work with diverse teams when under pressure whilst always being commercially savvy.
