About The Team

Job Summary**
JD.com is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving efficiency, innovation, and resilience across our extensive network, ensuring exceptional customer experience and competitive advantage.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with JD.com's overall business objectives and growth plans.
* Oversee and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
* Implement advanced supply chain technologies and automation solutions to enhance efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making.
* Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other external stakeholders to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
* Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
* Collaborate closely with internal departments, including sales, marketing, technology, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of supply chain activities.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in supply chain management to maintain JD.com's leadership position.
* Manage the supply chain budget effectively, optimizing costs without compromising service levels or quality.
Job Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership roles, preferably within a large-scale e-commerce or retail environment.
* Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and optimizing complex supply chain networks.
* Deep expertise in all facets of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
* Strong understanding of supply chain technologies, including WMS, TMS, ERP systems, and advanced analytics platforms.
* Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
* Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives, manage large budgets, and achieve measurable results.
* Proficiency in data analysis and experience leveraging insights to drive operational improvements.
* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly evolving environment.
* Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a significant plus.
