Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi is looking for an efficient, passionate, and team-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team! Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, the first Holiday Inn property in Abu Dhabi, welcomes guests with 203 modern and stylish rooms, complemented by a diverse selection of dining, entertainment, and meeting facilities. Our hotel offers a variety of unique food and beverage experiences, from international dining at Silk Route Café to vibrant evenings at Thirty 1st Bar & Lounge, featuring stunning views of the Abu Dhabi skyline. Guests can also enjoy an authentic Arabic social experience at Hubbly Bubbly, our shisha café, or indulge in the casual dining experience at Stock Burger Co., offering premium burgers, craft brews, and a relaxed atmosphere.

What's the job?

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support the Housekeeping team in delivering clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas that exceed guest expectations. You will supervise the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and service in line with IHG brand standards. You will also contribute to achieving departmental goals by maintaining quality standards, supporting team performance, and promoting a safe and efficient working environment.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

The duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Housekeeping Attendants to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas meet IHG brand standards.

  
  

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation meet quality expectations prior to guest arrival.

  
  

• Deliver warm, friendly, and professional service, responding promptly to guest requests and resolving concerns to enhance the overall guest experience.

  
  

• Support and coach housekeeping colleagues by providing guidance, training, and regular feedback to ensure consistent service standards.

  
  

• Monitor room status, productivity, and daily assignments to ensure operational efficiency and timely room availability.

  
  

• Maintain adequate inventory and proper use of cleaning supplies, linen, equipment, and guest amenities while minimizing waste and controlling costs.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with housekeeping procedures, health and safety regulations, chemical handling requirements, and infection prevention standards.

  
  

• Identify and report maintenance defects, safety hazards, or security concerns promptly, following up to ensure timely resolution.

  
  

• Promote sustainability initiatives by supporting energy conservation, waste reduction, and responsible use of hotel resources.

  
  

What We Need From You

The ideal candidate must meet the legal requirements to work in the UAE and have previous experience in a similar role within an international hotel environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, guest-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

• Ideally, 1–2 years' experience in a similar role, supported by relevant hospitality qualifications.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative team player with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional appearance with high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
• Flexible to work a six-day rotating roster, including overnight, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
