Job Title: Project Director Job Type: Fulltime Job Location: Abu Dhabi
We are looking for an experienced Project Director to lead the design, execution, and successful delivery of a major critical infrastructure project in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the overall planning, design, execution, and commissioning of large-scale EPC/design-build projects. Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. Oversee project planning, risk management, contract administration, and project controls. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and FIDIC contract requirements.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (Mechanical Engineering candidates with significant EPC leadership experience may also be considered).20+ years of project management experience in large infrastructure projects. Proven experience delivering nuclear power plants, military facilities, airports, or other critical infrastructure projects. Strong background in EPC/Design-Build projects with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Experience managing projects from design through commissioning. Excellent leadership, client management, contract administration, and project controls skills. Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, HSE, QA/QC, risk management, and project scheduling. European project experience or European nationality is preferred.
