Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer role based in Al Hamriyah. The Structural Engineer will design and review structural components and systems for marine and related civil projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include performing structural analysis and calculations, preparing and checking detailed drawings and models using CAD tools, and supporting project teams with technical documentation and reports. The role also involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, responding to site queries, participating in inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement in design methods and safety practices. Qualifications Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to marine and related infrastructure projects. Proficiency in Structural Analysis and engineering Calculations for various load conditions, materials, and structural systems. Hands-on experience with using STAAD Pro , Ideastatica etc to perform design calculations are preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage. Familiarity with international and local design codes, standards, and classification society requirements applicable to marine and structural works. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project-based environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and site personnel. Relevant experience in marine, offshore, or industrial structural projects is highly beneficial.
