Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our multidisciplinary MEP engineering team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end mechanical building-services design for diverse building projects—taking concepts through detailed design, tender, and construction stages.
Mechanical Design Engineer (Mid-Level) – Building Services
Location: Dubai, UAE | Experience: 5–10 years
Role: Deliver mechanical building-services design for building projects from concept through tender and construction stages, working within a multidisciplinary MEP team.
Core systems: HVAC (chilled water, DX, ventilation, smoke management), public health (domestic water, drainage, pumping), and fire protection (sprinklers, hydrants, wet/dry systems).
Design deliverables: Heat load and psychrometric calculations, duct and pipe sizing, equipment selection and schedules, layouts, specifications, and schematics using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
Codes & regulations: Working knowledge of Middle East authority requirements (e.g. Civil Defence, local municipality/utility codes) alongside ASHRAE, CIBSE, and NFPA standards.
Coordination: Interface with electrical, ELV, and architectural teams; resolve clashes; support MEP coordination and value-engineering.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a consultancy environment with demonstrable Middle East project delivery.
