We BLANCO THORNTONS PROPERTIES is looking a Senior Accountant to join our team and must have Experience in Real Estate .

RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Strong knowledge on Accounting & Auditing Standards (IFRS)
· Proven experience as an accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant
· In-depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), UAE Vat laws
· Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
· Proficient user of accounting software (Eg: CRM Tally or similar)
· Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
· Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate accounting processes are being used
· A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
· Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting
- 5-7 Years’ Experience in Real Estate with Accounting Software in UAE preferably QuickBooks
- Must have a full knowledge of the Accounts workflow such as:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Sales Transactions
- Handling of Petty Cash
- Bank Reconciliation
- VAT Management
- Bookkeeping
- Generating Reports from POS
- Checking of Payroll
- Updating Inventories
- Assist the External Auditor
- Financial Reports
- Excellent Analytical Skills, Decision Making and Problem Solving
- Attention to accuracy & details
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Proficient in Data Entry
- Communication Skills
- Administrative Skills
