Role Description The Assistant AC Technician – Fresher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves supporting senior AC technicians in routine inspections, installation, and maintenance of air conditioning units and related systems in residential and mixed-use facilities. Daily tasks include assisting in diagnosing basic AC issues, performing filter cleaning, checking refrigerant levels under supervision, and helping with minor repairs and adjustments. The Assistant AC Technician will also help maintain tools and equipment, follow safety procedures, and document work activities as directed. This role offers practical training and development opportunities for individuals starting their career in HVAC and facilities management. Qualifications Ability to assist with AC system troubleshooting and basic diagnosis under supervision. Foundational understanding of electricity and safe handling of electrical components in HVAC settings. Exposure to or interest in preventive maintenance activities for AC and building systems. Basic familiarity with building services such as plumbing and their interaction with HVAC systems. Awareness of environmental and safety norms; EPA-related knowledge or willingness to learn and obtain relevant certifications is an advantage. High school diploma or technical/vocational certificate in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical trades preferred. Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and collaborate respectfully with a diverse team. Physical ability to perform field work, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions. Basic English communication skills; additional language skills are a plus. Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and build a long-term career in facilities management.
