As a Principal Frontend Engineer, you will define the frontend engineering vision, establish technical standards, mentor engineering teams, and work closely with product, UX, AI, and backend teams to build exceptional user experiences for complex, data-intensive, AI-powered platforms.
Responsibilities Define and continuously evolve XPIN AI’s frontend architecture, engineering standards, and technology stack. Establish best practices for code quality, maintainability, security, performance, scalability, accessibility, and testing. Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and engineering decisions while ensuring alignment with business objectives and product vision. Drive adoption of AI-assisted software engineering practices to improve development speed, code quality, testing, and developer productivity. Design and develop advanced dashboards, intelligent workspaces, real-time operational interfaces, and rich data visualizations. Champion modern frontend frameworks, component libraries, and development tooling. Partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, AI Engineers, Solution Architects, and Backend Engineers to transform complex business workflows into intuitive digital experiences. Build and maintain enterprise-grade design systems and reusable component libraries that ensure consistency across all XPIN AI products. Mentor and coach frontend engineers, promoting technical excellence, innovation, and engineering craftsmanship. Drive the adoption of AI and Large Language Model powered development practices across engineering teams. Advocate engineering excellence while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and innovation. Contribute to technical hiring, engineering culture, and long-term technology strategy.
Qualifications Strong Front-End Development skills, including proficiency with modern Java Script frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and component-based architectures. Experience with Responsive Web Design and creating accessible, cross-browser, and mobile-friendly user interfaces. Solid Web Development and Software Development skills, including version control (Git), testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts, RESTful APIs, and integration with server-side services. Ability to collaborate in remote teams, communicate clearly, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions. Experience with build tools and front-end ecosystems (e.g., Webpack, Vite, ESLint, CSS preprocessors, or Tailwind CSS). Background in AI-driven or data-intensive applications is a plus, along with familiarity with security best practices in web applications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.10+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a Principal, Lead, or Staff Engineering role. Expert-level proficiency in Java Script, Type Script, React, modern state management libraries (Redux, Mob X, Zustand, etc.), frontend architecture, and build systems. Proven experience designing scalable frontend architectures for enterprise Saa S, AI, Gov Tech, or large-scale digital platforms. Strong expertise in performance optimization, rendering large datasets, responsive UI engineering, and browser performance tuning. Experience with build tools and front-end ecosystems (e.g., Webpack, Vite, ESLint, CSS preprocessors, or Tailwind CSS). Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams while influencing both technical architecture and product strategy. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders. Practical experience with AI-assisted software development, including code generation, automated testing, intelligent refactoring, developer copilots, and LLM-powered engineering workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:Strong experience building data-intensive enterprise platforms involving analytics, digital twins, business intelligence, workflow orchestration, or operational dashboards. Experience developing graph-based applications, workflow builders, visual orchestration tools, or state management platforms using React Flow, XFlow, or similar technologies. Experience building real-time collaborative web applications using Web Sockets, streaming architectures, or event-driven systems. Good understanding of modern data engineering concepts including data pipelines, transformation frameworks, metadata management, and data governance. Passion for emerging technologies, continuous learning, and building world-class enterprise software.
