Role Description The Reporter role at Nxtra by Airtel is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information on company initiatives, technology developments, sustainability efforts, and market trends relevant to Nxtra’s data center business. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting interviews with internal and external stakeholders, attending events and briefings, and producing accurate, timely news articles, reports, and multimedia content for internal and external channels. The Reporter will collaborate with communications, marketing, and technical teams to translate complex topics into clear, engaging stories that align with Nxtra’s brand and strategic objectives. This role also involves monitoring industry news, identifying story opportunities, and maintaining ethical and editorial standards in all published content.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Reporting skills, including research, fact-checking, and timely story development. Candidates should possess excellent Writing and News Writing skills to create clear, accurate, and engaging content. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interviews, stakeholder collaboration, and presenting information. Candidates should possess Multimedia skills, such as basic photo, audio, or video creation and editing for digital platforms. Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field. Experience in business, technology, or infrastructure reporting and familiarity with data center or telecom sectors are beneficial. Strong editorial judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to ethical reporting standards are important. Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple assignments, and meet strict deadlines is required.
