We're Hiring | Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon Location: Dubai Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join our healthcare team in Dubai.
The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including trauma, degenerative disorders, and complex orthopedic cases.
The Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon will deliver high-quality patient care, perform advanced surgical procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in accordance with DHA regulations and international clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal disorders.
Provide comprehensive care for conditions involving: Bone and joint injuries Sports-related injuries Fractures and trauma cases Degenerative joint diseases Osteoarthritis Spinal and musculoskeletal disorders Ligament and tendon injuries Pediatric orthopedic conditions (where applicable) Joint deformities and reconstruction cases Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures, including: Joint replacement surgeries (hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasty) Arthroscopic procedures Fracture fixation and trauma surgery Ligament reconstruction Tendon repair procedures Corrective osteotomies Complex orthopedic reconstruction Sports injury surgeries Conduct pre-operative assessments, develop surgical plans, and provide post-operative management and rehabilitation guidance.
Interpret diagnostic investigations including X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and other orthopedic imaging studies.
Collaborate with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, pain management specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings for complex orthopedic cases.
Provide patient education regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and preventive measures.
Manage emergency orthopedic cases and trauma patients as required.
Supervise and mentor orthopedic specialists, residents, fellows, and junior medical staff.
Participate in clinical audits, research activities, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education programs.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the hospital's electronic medical record system.
Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, surgical safety standards, and clinical governance requirements.
Participate in departmental on-call services as required.

Qualifications MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
Completion of accredited residency training in Orthopedic Surgery.
Fellowship/CCT/CCST/Arab Board/American Board/Canadian Board or equivalent qualification recognized by DHA for Consultant registration.
Eligibility for or possession of a DHA Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon License .
Relevant post-qualification experience as per DHA Professional Qualification Requirements.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
