Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Civil Structural Engineer with a strong background in construction supervision to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will be supporting the delivery of a prestigious waterfront residential development comprising luxury villas and premium residential communities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the review and validation of detailed structural designs and Issued for Construction (IFC) documentation, supporting Architect of Record (AoR) services, coordinating multidisciplinary design activities, and providing construction supervision to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with approved designs, quality standards, statutory requirements and project objectives.

We envisage success in this role to include:

• Reviewing and validate detailed structural designs, calculations, specifications and IFC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, international codes and project requirements.
• Coordinginating with architectural, MEP, geotechnical, façade and other design disciplines throughout design and construction.
• Supporting Architect of Record (AoR) responsibilities, including design amendments, authority approvals and contractor design reviews.
• Reviewing contractor shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs and method statements.
• Conducting site inspections to monitor structural works, quality, safety and compliance with approved documentation.
• Identifying and resolve technical issues, design conflicts and construction challenges.
• Participating in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Monitoring construction progress, quality and structural compliance throughout project delivery.
• Preparing technical reports, inspection reports and support project handover, including as-built documentation and the Defects Liability Period.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.

Hands-on experience in large-scale building projects within the UAE is a key requirement.

Minimum 8 years' experience working within an engineering consultancy.

Proven experience delivering luxury villa and high-end residential developments.

Previous experience on waterfront or coastal developments is highly desirable.
