High School Position- Economics 11 and 12, Accounting 11 and 12 Abu Dhabi UAE Immediate Start An established and highly regarded international school in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced educator to join its diverse and welcoming community. Established in the 1990s, the school provides a co-educational education from Early Years through Grade 12, following a Canadian curriculum and leading to a recognised Canadian high school diploma. The Benefits • Salary Range- Depends on education and experience -12,000- 15,000 UAE dirhams a month tax free • Accommodation Provided apartment or a package of 6-9 thousand dirhams a month • Accommodation is furnished, utilities are set up and paid and housekeeping is provided • Return Ticket from location to Abu Dhabi provided • Visa costs covered • Health Insurance- once UAE pass is in place. Reimbursement possible for most health costs in interim time The Criteria • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject is required. • A recognised teaching qualification/licence appropriate to the position. • Previous experience teaching within a Canadian, North American or comparable international curriculum is highly desirable. • Experience teaching the relevant age group and subject. • Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment. • A commitment to student-centred learning, academic progress and pastoral care. • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment. • International teaching experience is advantageous, particularly experience in the Gulf or Middle East. • Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, adaptability and a genuine commitment to international education. • Applicants must meet UAE requirements for background checks, attestation and employment eligibility.
