Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders. Analyse technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues. Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. Develop and maintain APIs, services, and application components where required. Improve application performance, reliability, and security. Contribute to automated testing and continuous integration processes. Stay updated with relevant technologies, tools, and software development practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Professional experience in software development or a related engineering role. Strong knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Java Script/Type Script, C#, C++, or Go. Understanding of software development life cycles and engineering best practices. Experience with databases, APIs, version control, and testing frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a technical team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with one or more of the following is an advantage:Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Docker and Kubernetes. CI/CD pipelines. Microservices and distributed systems. SQL or NoSQL databases. Agile/Scrum development environments. Modern frontend or backend frameworks.
