Role Description As an Architect, you will be responsible for developing and delivering architectural designs that balance functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, safety, and project requirements. You will work closely with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to translate design concepts into practical and well-coordinated architectural solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing design concepts, architectural drawings, layouts, presentations, specifications, and project documentation throughout the design and development process. You will interpret project requirements, applicable building codes, planning regulations, and technical standards to ensure that designs are compliant and feasible. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and technical issues, review drawings and materials, and support the preparation of project submissions and approvals. You will also participate in design reviews, site coordination, and construction-related activities where required, ensuring that design intent and quality standards are maintained throughout project delivery. You will contribute creative and practical solutions to architectural challenges while considering project scope, budget, timelines, materials, environmental impact, and user needs. You will stay informed about architectural trends, technologies, materials, sustainability practices, and industry standards to continuously improve design quality and project outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline. Strong understanding of architectural design principles, spatial planning, building systems, construction methods, and materials. Knowledge of applicable building codes, planning regulations, safety requirements, and architectural standards. Proficiency in architectural design and drafting software such as Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Archicad, or equivalent tools. Ability to develop architectural concepts, plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation materials. Strong visual, creative, and technical design skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to interpret project requirements and translate concepts into practical architectural solutions. Understanding of construction documentation, specifications, material selection, and multidisciplinary coordination. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple design tasks while maintaining quality, accuracy, and project requirements. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and emerging architectural technologies is an advantage.
