As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible to oversee and manage the execution of landscape works on-site, ensuring construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines, from soft/hard landscaping to irrigation systems.
Responsibilities:Supervise day-to-day landscape construction activities on-site, including hardscaping (paving, kerbs, pergolas, water features) and softscaping (planting, turfing, soil preparation) Review and interpret landscape drawings, shop drawings, and specifications; coordinate with design and consultant teams to resolve site queries Plan, schedule, and monitor work progress against the project timeline; report delays and propose recovery measures Coordinate irrigation system installation, testing, and commissioning Ensure materials (soil, plants, pavers, irrigation components) meet approved specifications; conduct material inspections and approvals Supervise subcontractors and labor teams; allocate resources efficiently across landscape zones Conduct quality checks and inspections at each stage of landscape works; raise and close snags/NCRsEnsure compliance with HSE standards and site safety protocols during all landscape operations Maintain accurate site records: daily reports, material reconciliation, progress photographs, and as-built documentation Coordinate with MEP, civil, and other trade teams to avoid clashes and ensure integrated execution
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, Horticulture, or related field3–7 years of relevant site engineering experience in landscape/softscape and hardscape projects, preferably in the UAE/GCC region Knowledge of landscape construction methods, plant species suitable for the region, irrigation system design (drip/sprinkler), and hardscape material specifications
